YES! Several updates are offered throughout the year with new features, bug fixes, security patches, and equipment connectivity. We'll communicate these updates to you by email and through free webinars.
It's easy—make an appointment by filling out the form, and one of our trainers will contact you to set up a free software demo. We'll assess your needs and present a quote. The installation is then performed on a scheduled date and is accompanied by a data transfer, system configuration, and training session.

Software usage

Software updates are at your fingertips via the help menu that also contains an improvements list (Historical Account).

NO. Thanks to Optosys, you can directly upload ophthalmic lens catalogues based on your preferences (suppliers, brands and materials). All companies billable through Telus are billable through Optosys, including major insurers such as Industrial Alliance, Manulife Financial, Great West, Sun Life Financial and much more.
YES. Optosys can directly invoice any provincial government; Nova Scotia (MSI), Quebec (RAMQ), Ontario (OHIP), Manitoba (MSP), Saskatchewan (SaskHealth), Alberta (AHC) and British Columbia (MSP).
YES. This function is available for Optosys users in Ontario.

System requirements

YES. We ensure that Optosys is always compatible with the latest versions of Windows.
YES. However, you must have the Windows emulator installed on your MAC.

Optosys is a software that works optimally, and is fully integrated, with Microsoft Office making it easy to create documents. This allows you to quickly merge patient data and edit reports when converted into Excel.
High-speed Internet access with download speeds of up to 10Mbps and upload speeds of up to 1Mbps are required. However, for multi-clinics, the main clinic must have a plan that includes a fixed IP address. Optosys follows https protocol, a secure communication network similar to what banks use.
