OSI Group (Optometric Services Inc.) is Canada’s leading network of independent optical clinic owners. We offer various services to our members, owners of independent optical clinics, such as Financial, Marketing, Web and IT services. Within the IT department, our company has developed a software (ERP) for patient management software for optometrists and opticians: Optosys.

 

Our Optosys software includes the best integrated solutions for the daily operations of a clinic, from online patient appointment scheduling to inventory management and performance indicators, including electronic medical records, paperless exams, connections to specialized equipment and electronic orders sent to laboratories. Currently, our software is used in optical clinics across Canada as well as in schools to train young professionals!

 

We would like to find someone to ensure the quality of the Support Service currently offered to our users by answering their requests and solving technical problems remotely. Moreover, if you have the desire to grow and advance professionally, this position is for you! As a growing company, you will have the opportunity to grow within our team and eventually become a software implementation specialist.

Your main responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Implementation & Support Director, the Software Support Agent will:

  • Respond to users’ service calls (telephone and email) and handle all requests (support, information, training, technical problem solving);
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by responding quickly to questions in a professional manner;
  • Become an expert of our software in order to guide our users in the use of our software;
  • Participate in the development of technical documents and improve existing ones to enrich the knowledge bank.

 

What do you need to succeed?

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service / support;
  • Experience in a call centre;
  • Perfectly bilingual: English and French;
  • Tech savvy, with the ability to learn and utilize new technology tools efficiently;
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt to different types of customers;
  • Ability to work under pressure, alone or in collaboration with the team;
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively;
  • Excellent technical problem solving skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge of the optical industry (an asset).
